Job description

As a Qualified Accountant at Denova, you will be deployed to work on a fast-paced engagement with a leading global consulting firm in Europe.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on ERP experience - ideally including FinancialForce/Certinia. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance and timeliness of financial statements, reconciliations and supporting schedules throughout the year-end close.

Location: Remote (Philippines-based)
Schedule: Mid-Shift (3 PM – 12 MN Philippine Time)
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.

  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reporting packs in accordance with local GAAP and/or IFRS.

  • Support the external audit process, preparing required documentation and addressing queries.

  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, internal policies, and external reporting standards.

  • Work closely with clients to deliver accurate and timely financial outputs.

  • Use ERP systems—ideally FinancialForce/Certinia—to maintain accurate data and generate reports.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) - MANDATORY

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting roles, including exposure to year-end close and audit support - MANDATORY

  • Strong understanding of core accounting processes (GL, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations).

  • ERP experience required; experience with FinancialForce/Certinia is highly preferred.

  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large volumes of data.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Must be available to start immediately.
